Enjoy warm with butter or your favorite topping for a delightful snack or breakfast option.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter diced
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the diced cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or fork to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Pour the mashed bananas and milk into the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it into a circle about 1 inch thick.
Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
